Established in 2016 Synergy in Trade was formed specifically to assist UK based companies with their international trade business. Synergy is privately owned and has two Directors. Conveniently located in Leicestershire, they have a team of ex-bankers who all specialise in International Trade who combined have over 150 years of experience.

If you are not the manufacturer of the goods, Synergy are able to use the export letter of credit as security, to enable them to issue their own letter of credit to the supplier. This back to back credit arrangement is invaluable to traders who are just unable to get the support they need from their bank. Using this arrangement it also alleviates problems with businesses who are using transferable credits to facilitate their trade transactions. Transferable credits by their nature are quite restrictive & businesses are often frustrated by their inflexibility and tendency to disclose the names of all the parties to a transaction. A back to back credit facility opens up a whole new world to the trader and with its flexibility gives far more opportunities for businesses to expand.

Synergy also provides invaluable support to UK importers by financing the purchase of goods from overseas suppliers and effectively bridge the funding gap until the importer gets paid by their customers.

Radio Caroline is a British radio station founded in 1964 by Ronan O'Rahilly initially to circumvent the record companies' control of popular music broadcasting in the U K and the BBC's radio broadcasting monopoly. Unlicensed by any government for most of its early life, it was a pirate radio station that never actually became illegal, although after the Marine Offences Act (1967) it became illegal for a British subject to be associated with it. 

Radio Caroline broadcast from international waters, using five different ships of three different owners, from 1964 to 1990, and via satellite from 1998 to 2013. Since 19 August 2000, Radio Caroline has also broadcast 24 hours a day via the internet and by the occasional restricted service licence. Currently they also broadcast on DAB radio in certain areas of the UK: these services are part of the Ofcom small-scale DAB+ trials. Caroline can be heard on DAB+ in Aldershot, Birmingham, Brighton, Glasgow, Norwich, London, Portsmouth and Woking. 

On 1 January 2016, a second internet channel was launched called Caroline Flashback, playing pop music from the late 1950s to the early 1980s.

In May 2017 Ofcom awarded the station an AM community licence to broadcast to Suffolk and north Essex full-time AM (medium wave) broadcasting, via a previously redundant BBC World Service transmitter mast at Orford Ness. Transmissions on 648 mtrs commenced on 22 December 2017. Nowadays, it broadcast all around the UK via DAB and to the world via the internet with strong following across Europe, Asia and North America. 

Radio Caroline continues to broadcasts music from the 1960s to contemporary, with an emphasis on album-oriented rock (AOR) and "new" music from "carefully selected albums". 

One weekend every month live transmissions come from their radio ship, the Ross Revenge which is moored in the River Blackwater in Essex. The DJ’s broadcast from the ship and these transmissions are in conjunction with Manx Radio in the Isle of Man where back in the 1960’s Ramsey Bay was home to Radio Caroline North. 

Trips to the radio ship are available on broadcast and non-broadcast weekends where you will be able to see what life was like aboard this world famous radio station and former Ross Fisheries vessel which in its days as a trawler it was involved in the Icelandic cod wars.
